Please find below our suggestions how to reach the Lisboa Congress Centre (CCL) by public transport.
From the Airport:
- By Taxi
The city is served by 3,500 taxis, and a taxi ride from the airport to the city centre should cost between 8,00 € and 15,00 €. - By Airport bus
Contact the Airport Information Desk for information on the exact location of the AEROBUS. Leave the bus at the last stop of the AEROBUS - Estação do Cais do Sodré (Commuter Train Station). From here take the bus or tram to the CCL (bus 714, 728, 732 | tram 15). - By Metro
The RED LINE is starting at the airport. Use this line until the Alameda station where you change to the GREEN LINE until its end station – Estação do Cais do Sodré. When leaving the Metro station at Cais do Sodré you will see the Bus/Tram stops. Take bus 732 (direction: Caselas) or bus 714 (direction: Outurela) or tram E15 (direction: Algés). Get out at stop at Rua da Junqueira/Congress Centre located just behind the CCL (8 stops after Cais do Sodré).
Should you want to reach the city centre only please leave the underground at the Saldanha station or at the end station S.Sebastião.

- By Underground (Metro)
GREEN LINE - Use the Metro until the end station – Estação do Cais do Sodré. When leaving the Metro station at Cais do Sodré you will see the Bus/Tram stops. Take bus 732 (direction: Caselas) or bus 714 (direction: Outurela) or tram E15 (direction: Algés). Get out at stop at Rua da Junqueira/Congress Centre located just behind the CCL (8 stops after Cais do Sodré).
How to buy a ticket
At the Underground stations (Metro) look for the ticket machines. Touch the screen and choose the option "zapping". Next choose one of the ticket options on offer. The first time buying a ticket you will first receive a re-chargeable card (0,50 €) and the remaining amount to be used as a credit according to the option you have chosen. Using this modality a one way Metro trip costs 1,40 € (valid for 1 hour on metro, buses and trams – NOT valid for the commuter trains). Keep the card and next time you want to buy a ticket, please introduce the card first in the ticket machine, select "zapping" and update your credit for the next trip. You can pay with coins, notes or credit card.
